I recently had a new battery installed and ever since then my power sliding
door will not open(powered)I was wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to
where the problem might be and how to go about fixing it!

check the fuses?  what about taking off the positive battery cable fo a
couple of minutes then re-attach the cable.  this will reset the computer on
the car and just maybe fix your problem

I have a 1998 silhouette, and this hapens to me from time to time. There is
a procedure in the manual for this. It's basically (this is from my memory,
check with manual) switching the power sliding door to off then remove a
certain fuse. wait 2 minutes, plug fuse back and run door.

again, I have a 1998 so it might be different with yours.
