blower motor will not work on high when the switch is moved to high.  I
replaced the switch and still nothing. what next to check?

Your machine should have a high speed relay somewhere under the hood
(guessing).  Check it by swapping it with another one just like it if there
is one nearby.  The 12 volt feed for high speed comes through a fusible
link.  Make sure this power is available at the relay.

where would that relay be located at,I have looked in my chiltons and it
does not show anything where its located.

Not familiar with your vehicle's particulars, but typical locations for
these relays include under the hood on the center of the firewall, sometimes
inside a plastic housing, or on a support near the passenger side of the
radiator.

For what it's worth here is what AutoZone's component locator says:

UNDER HOOD, PASSENGER SIDE, REAR ENGINE AREA, DRIVER    SIDE OF BLOWER
MOTOR, MOUNTED ON A/C EVAPORATOR       CORE HOUSING

Find the 3 position connector near the rear of the pass side valve
cover that has a big red wire. Most likely the terminal(s) for the red
wire are burnt up.
