I have a 98 intrique, 3.8L V6, the dealer said the intake manifold is
warped and will be $600.00 to repair since it's not covered on the
warranty.
How do you warp a intake manifold when the car is only driven 3mi a day
and no warning lights ever came on? second is this price reasonable and if
not how hard would it be do do it myself?

Is the engine missing or overheating?
Why does the dealer say you need the work done?
More likely than not, it's your intake manifold gasket that is bad.
$600 is a reasonable price for this job.
It is possible for a backyard mechanic with tools and a manual to do
properly.

Those have the plastic intake that the EGR doesn't get along with.
