My 1999 Alero has blower problems. Blower works well for only a minute or so at a time. Took it to the dealer, and he replaced the resistor pack (215.00 wasted) because this is a normal problem. He must have tried it for only a minute after doing this and gave it a clean bill of health. When I run it in the defrost mode, it will blow well for about a minute every once in awhile, but if I switch it to blowfrom the dash vents or the floor, nothing comes out. Please help, I can't even use it in this cold weather because the windows all frost up

Help me understand your problem a little better.  Is your blower motor
shutting off after a minute or so of operation or does the blower continue
to run but the air flow is not coming from where it's supposed to?

Thanks for your response, SilverSurfer, but when I finally got hold of someone at the dealership who seemed to understand the problem, he replaced the blower motor and it works now
