My 1999 Alero has blower problems. Blower works well for only a minute or so at a time. Took it to the dealer, and he replaced the resistor pack (215.00 wasted) because this is a normal problem. He must have tried it for only a minute after doing this and gave it a clean bill of health. When I run it in the defrost mode, it will blow well for about a minute every once in awhile, but if I switch it to blowfrom the dash vents or the floor, nothing comes out. Please help, I can't even use it in this cold weather because the windows all frost up -- steelmelter Help me understand your problem a little better. Is your blower motor shutting off after a minute or so of operation or does the blower continue to run but the air flow is not coming from where it's supposed to? > My 1999 Alero has blower problems. Thanks for your response, SilverSurfer, but when I finally got hold of someone at the dealership who seemed to understand the problem, he replaced the blower motor and it works now :- -- steelmelter |
