Window Regulator Replacement - Front Door

Removal Procedure
Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front
Door .
Remove the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector Replacement - Front
Door .
Raise and tape the window in the full up position.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Remove the window to regulator bolts Refer to Window Replacement - Front
Door . Remove the regulator to door mounting bolts (1,2,3,4).
Remove the regulator motor mounting bolts.
Remove the regulator from the door.

Installation Procedure

Install the regulator to the door.

Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must
be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or
sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints,
lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces
unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping
force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and
specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts
and systems.

Install the window regulator to door mounting bolts in the following
sequence.
Lower rear (1)
Upper rear (2)
Lower front (3)
Upper front (4) Tighten

Tighten the window regulator to door bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Install the three window regulator motor mounting bolts. Tighten
Tighten the window regulator motor bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

Connect the electrical connector.
Remove the tape from the front door window and lower the window onto the
window regulator carrier plate.
Install the window to regulator bolts. Refer to Window Replacement - Front
Door .
Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector
Replacement - Front Door .
Install the front door inner trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement -
Side Front Door .
