98 Olds Aurora

Where is blower motor( for Heater and AC) located under dash of 1998 olds
Aurora ? And can some one please tell me easiest way to change it? Thanks in
advance.

Blower motor location:  Under the right side of the instrument panel, on the
HVAC case

Blower Motor and Fan Replacement

Removal Procedure

Remove the right side sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel
Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
Remove the cooling tube from the blower motor.
Remove the screws that attach the blower motor to the heater and A/C module
assembly.
Remove the blower motor and the fan.

Installation Procedure

Notice
Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must
be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or
sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints,
lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces
unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping
force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and
specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts
and systems.

Install the blower motor to the heater and A/C module assembly using the
attaching screws. Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 1.4 N·m (12 lb in).
Install the cooling tube to the blower motor.
Connect the electrical connector to the blower motor.
Install the right side sound insulator. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel
Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
