the 1st time my sister had a problem, my sister was driving her car and it
stalled out on her i went to go help her try and get it running, their was
no power no lights the car was died so i tried to boost her car it would
not turn over and still no lights no power even with the booster cable's I
got her towed home. the next day i changed the battery and it started no
problem so i thougt it was the alternator i cheacked, it was i got it
changed and put a new battery in it. It was running good for a bit till
now (august) and the problems last time wher befor new years. It is doing
the same thing just now the battery has lots of power but still no lights
and the car wont even turn over pleaz i need help i love cars but i am
ready to scrap the car on her but she wont let me because it cost her to

i was told that it is a fuse problem but i think diffrint if that was the
case it shouldn't of started the first time i had this problem when i

check the battery cables.  I have an olds 88 and it had the exact same
problem.  this should have a screw in type fastener to the battery (I
believe) and the bolt/wires get very corroded in there.  either replace
them or get some acid cleaner and a new bolt.  the bolts are only 3
bucks at wal-mart (if that's the type you have).  the positive terminal
on mine was the problem.  your old battery was probably leaking,
causing corrosion.

the cables are fine and clean but still it would at least turn over with a
boost but i don't even get lights at all
