I know this is a common problem with this model, and I have replaced
bulbs and sockets on left front turn signal and cornering/marker lamps
like a lot of other people.  The turn signal now works fine, but the
cornering lamp still does not work, even with the new socket.  The
small side marker light which is part of the same socket assembly works
fine. What should I try next?
Thanks.

The service manual shows that the turn signal switch has separate contacts
for the cornering lamps.  It could be the turn signal switch is at fault.
Also the wires for the cornering lamps go through a 68-pin underhood
junction block.  Might be something loose or corroded in there.
