If it hasn't been done in a few years, replacing the oxygen sensor will
perk the car up.

The cheepest bang for the buck is to install  a NOX  system .
Depending on the size it coule give you from 50 to 200 extra
horsepower at full throttle. The only down side is that you could burn
the tops of the pistons if you use it too much.

someone told me about cold air throthle body is that an ok method of adding horsepower to my car
Sallie Collier - 21 Nov 2003 04:19 GMT
You are talking about two different things. Putting a cold air duct to
your throttle body is one thing,a bigger throttle body is somthing
else.

1 - Cold Air: This will give you some small gain in horse power, maby
5 to 7 Hp. It will make for a smother throttle response due to the
computer having the same air temp. at all times.

2 - Big Bore Throttle Body: Lots of problems here. If you do not
increase the size of the injectors and reprogram the computer you will
waste your money on a small Hp. gain.

3 - THE BOTTLE! (NOX): This is the best bang for the buck. A good 100
Hp. kit will not set you back much money. It is, if you are like me a
Gear Head, easy to install. The hard part is tuning it for your car.

Find a local sports car nut running a Honda or Toyota he can point you
the right direction for help.

Good Luck
