I have a 1972 Olds Delta 88 Royale, and I need to replace the trunk
emblem. It is the swiveling lock cover.  The original is fastened with
what looks like two flat head screws. However instead of phillips or
standard head, it has only a small, circular hole in the face of the
screw head.  Is this some type of rivet, or something else?  Any
advice for removing the old and attaching the new would be
appreciated.

Thanks,

Kyle

I believe that's a pop rivet. Wouldn't want someone to unscrew the lock,
wouldja?

Kyle...I have the 1972 Olds shop manual that shows the
removal of that emblem. I'm going to put that picture
on another forum if you want to see it. I don't think
that this board is set up for picture posting.
