I have a cutlass supreme 85 3.8L ?
I am having aproblem with the fuel system
some times it does not start totally
the started work well but it smell a lot of gas.
I checked the carburetor and it is full of gas
also I remove one spark plug an was pretty wet of gas

does anyone knows what could be the problem of this car
some time work OK some times not and I have to wait until
the gas is evaporated.

Any carburetor can give flooding problems if the air filter is dirty or
if it just plain needs rebuilt. A way-off choke setup can do the same
thing. A sunken/misadjusted float, sticking needle/seat, bad airhorn gasket (or maybe just air
horn screws come loose) are some of the more likely possibilities.
