I have an Olds Intrigue 2000.  The headlight flicker alot and the fan switch
stays on when I turn it to high. Any Ideas how to fix?

It's a widespread problem.  I have a 2000 Intrigue GL and have the same
problem.  I was told by the diagnostic guy at AutoZone that GM will usually
fix it free of charge.  It is a problem with the regulator in the
alternator.

Did this problem carry through to the 2002 model or was it fixed by then?

I'm really not sure.  I just saw a lot of stuff online about how the 2000's
had a lot of problems with this issue.
