My 1990 Chevy Celebrity 3.1 engine stalls after a few minutes, dies and I
can't get it to crank up again. I let it cool down then it cranks back up
and stalls again. I did a diagnostic with the computer, giving a 43 code
(Knock Sensor (ESC)). I know it's in the back side of the engine. Could this
sensor possibly give this problem? It seems as no gas is getting to the
injectors or there's no spark. Any suggestions?

The knock sensor should not affect the engine's ability to run. If I
recall correctly, this is a rare code on this engine that only seems to
occur when there is an ECM problem. Perhaps there's a GM tech around who
can confirm.

I have the same problem with the same model/yr etc.
Did you find out what the cause of the problem was

I forgot to mention in my previous email that I don't think its a spark
problem because if I spray 'easy start' into the air intake it fires up
for a few secs then dies - this indicates that it is lacking fuel i.e. the
injectors are not firing (I checked fuel pressure it didn't drop when it
stalled (stayed at 40lbs all the time). So it looks like the ECM is
shutting down the injectors - but why?
