I can't help you with the emblem/lock mechanism, but if you're interested.
I have the brouchre for that model if you want it.  I can sell it to you
cheap.  I also have the Oldsmobile logo from the driver side headlight
cover.  Why I still have it, I don't know.  Ahhh... Memories....

My dad bought me a '90 Trofeo when I graduated.  I loved that car.  I never
expereinced problems with it except for the dashboard always cut out.  It
wasn't fun driving on the expressway cause you never knew how fast you were
going, then all the sudden it kick on and you found out you were doing 90!
I got tired of taking it in, so I got rid of her.  It was an awesome car.
Too bad they didn't sell for sh.t in their last few years.  There's a number
of them still rolling around my town, unfortanetly, they're driven by white
trash who don't appreciate the car's value.
