I get vibration that seems to come from the left front. I've rotated and
balanced the tires on schedule, and gotten the alignments--and in the past 4
years I've even replaced the front suspension, steering, tires, and engine
and transmission mounts. Nothing matters. The recent tire change and
replacing the dogbone did some good, but if the left front wheel is above or
below the plane of the right one I still get the vibration. What could be
causing it?

I would be looking at the axle shaft to that wheel if suspension travel
varies the vibration.
