1990 olds wont start

olds wont start when cold. back fires through intake.starts for good if
plugged in for 1 or 2 hours

I recently had the same problem with my 91 Ninety Eight! When I plug mine in
it keeps it at 65 Degrees and starts without a problem. I just came back
from NH where the Temp was dropping below zero at night.
