Is this a common problem?
No Service Engine light on and no codes according to dealer.

Intermittent problem when restarting after it sits for about an hour or
two.  Starts fine when cold.

When starting the car the engine just won't catch.  Eventually it starts
but idles at around 500-750 RPM for a few seconds before it gets it act
together and smooths out.

any ideas?

I'd suspect the crank sensor.  It's a common item that will cause this
condition.

Actually, it turned out to be the PCM.
Dealer reprogrammed it and everything is fine.
