anything special I need to know? mounting a hitch

I'm re-mounting a class 2 hitch that was on my Alero. I see the rusted holes
and have the nuts and bolts the U-Haul dude gave me when he removed the
hitch. All I gotta do is bolt it back on right? There weren't any special
washers were there? Pulling a $10,000 jet ski so...

as to the mounting holes surface rust is no problem as long as the surface
you are bolting to is solid,also be sure and use lock washers or loctite
and be double sure everything is tight.then recheck for tightness after a
few miles,hope this helps, ken

Thanks we managed to get it on. Now I see why it took 5 hours for UHaul to
put the hitch on the car. We had to fish a bolt inside the frame of the
chasis using a magnet! lol!
