I had some problems and carried it to what once was an Olds dealer. He did
some AC work but nothing under the dash or on baffels. Also installed fuel
tank sender and reprogramed door look on drivers side so my key would open
it. the chares in total were a little over $1100.00. Did I get raped or
what? Also, does Olds monitor this, I would if I were them.
Thanks for suggestions or help

Define "raped."
Doesn't sound extreme for dealer charges. They'll always go by the rate
book for the bill while splitting the extra with the mechanic. The
invoice should show the hours for each job plus parts.
The dealer will be the most expensive placce to get work done, outside
of blatant rip-off. They're usually "honest" about what was done but
charge through the nose.

Splitting the extra with the mechanic???
Most dealership mechanics are paid flat rate, meaning that the mechanic is
paid for his hourly rate multiplied by the hours billed for the job.
I'm figuring on at least $500 in parts for this repair. I can't tell
because the OP has not provided all the critical information, so I have no
way of knowing if there was any overcharging involved. But, every
customer has the option of saying "No, don't fix that." Any perceived
rape after "yes, please do that" is the fault of no one other than the
person who agreed to the charges for the work performed.
