1992 oldsmobile eighty-eight royale

hey i need help i have a 92 oldsmobile eighty eight royale and my heat
shield is laying on the exhaust and it rattles when i drive do any of you
know how i can put it back up where it belongs

hey well i solved the problem i bought sheet metal screws from home depot
and screwed it back it now no rattling

Did it have sheet metal screws originally or something else like rivets or
tack welds?

i really have no clue whatever was there was rusted away so there wasnt
anything there anymore but there were holes in the heat shield so that leads
me to beleave that there were once screws of some sort there
