My girlfriend has a 98 Bravada, and her wipers often do not work.
There is no rhyme or reason to it, they will sometimes work fine, then
change speed, or just stop working in mid wipe. Sometimes they don't
come on at all. I was wondering what this could be, whether it's a
motor issue, or the switch, or maybe even something in the
electronics. It also seems that it's hard to replicate, every time
she's taken it to a dealer they say they work fine. I think they just
don't leave them on enough, or don't try enough times. Just wondering
what to expect, and maybe what to tell the dealer to get them to
thouroghly test it. Thanks.

i think you should replace the motor even though it shouldnt be bad on a 98
check the wires going into it and the fuse wiper motors shouldnt be that
much

Replace this thing called a pulse board. It's a circuit card right next to
the wiper motor (just open up that little box and there it is). My 97 did
that alot, especially when the wipers needed to work. NAPA has the part for
about $23.
