98 OLDS INTRIGUE FANS NOT COMING ON

THE FANS WILL COME ON WHEN A/C TURNED ON.  I SUSPECT COOLING FAN THERMO
SWITCH.  WHERE IS IT MOUNTED? THANKS FOR THE HELP.

On my wife's 2002 (3.5L) the sensor is described as being "on the left rear
area of the engine."  The diagram appears to show it in the cylinder head
closest to the firewall and it's mounted horizontally.  Your machine
probably has the 3.8L which may be totally different.
