My '89 Olds 88 Royale Brougham dies when I let off the gas. Not all the
time, just randomly... Sometimes it runs great, no problems, but it seems
that when there is moisture in the air, it dies.
No warning lights are appearing and every mechanic says they can't check
it until a light is on (new to me).
I have changed the fuel filter and used injection and tank cleaner
numerous times, but that is not taking care of my problem.
I am not an advanced mecahanic and I don't want to pay out the ..... to
get this fixed.
Can anyone help?
?? Thanks in advace for any knowledge you can share!

The fact that it happens when the air is moist makes me think that it may be
plug wires.

I forgot to mention that I had those replaced only weeks ago and had them
checked over once more when the car was acting up. I also think that the
moisture was only a coincidence when the car died. Just this morning, it
was raining hard, and the car did great.
Could it be a clogged injection or line of some sort?
When I use cleaners, it is only a temporary fix
?? Please, any information is helpful.
