For about a week, my car will start in the mornings, after sitting all
night, but when I go on an errand, where my car will be off for an hour or
so, my car refuses to start.  I thought I needed to be jumped, the man who
helped said it was not the battery, since then, I've had several people
tell me it could be the fuel filter.  Or fuel pump.  I'm going to take it
to a mechanic, but was wondering if perhaps anyone else experienced
something similiar with the same make of car, and what the outcome was.
Thanks.

Try replacing the coil pack.
Mine was $50.00
It can be tested first too.
