2000 olds intrigue

the heater and ac control knob. does nothing at all when you turn it. so i
first put a new blower motor in and nothing. then i got a used control
switch. and it has 6 setting from off to number 5. and now only the number
5 setting works(which is full blast). then i took it apart, the check the
inside connection and everything seems to be normal. does anyone know if
theres a relay, or know what the problem may be. if so can you please

There is a chance that your speed control resistor "module" has failed.  It
will likely be in the air duct near the blower motor.

yes it was the resistor module. they say its very common on these cars. the
good thing is, its only $27.00 brand new. thanks u.

Where is this located?  Mine is starting to do the same thing.
