Recently I have notice that my wife's minivan leaks coolant
oily-reddish liquid. My question is if this is normal or should I have to
take some action.
Please advise.

Action is almost always required for what you describe.  Can you determine
where the leakage is originating?

these engines are known for intake gasket failures.
