I am recently the proud owner of a 2000 Alero. Yay me!
I was reading in the paper about a nearby Christmas light display, and
it requested viewers to turn off their headlights. It was then I
realized I don't know how to do this!
Owner's manual was no help, makes it sound as if it's impossible, at
least while the car's in motion.
Does anyone know of a way to turn off the headlights at night, or even
how to turn off the DRL's during the day?
Thanks, all!
Mike

yes to keep the headlights from coming on , you start with the car off ,
pull the emergency brake up just a notch or two to trigger the sensor but
not engage the brakes then crank, and you have no lights, this is quite a
pathetic way to have to do this , i mean everybody has a need to be sneaky
every now and then. anyways if u put the brake back down the headlights
come on again
