harmonic balancer pulley tool will not work?

I need to replace my pulley but unfortunately no  matter  what we do
the tool that was devised for the job will not work! I need to know if
there is another way to take the pulley off.

It?s almost impossible to take off the harmonic balancer without the
tool. It?s sometimes a bitch to pull it off, but you have to screw
around with the tool till you get the middle part on correctly. and
pull.
