My climate control is acting up. When the car is started the set temp.
flashes for a minuite or two then the unit will not go into AUTO mode. The
system is in manual mode and will not go into AUTO. This also does not let
me run the Air either. Any ideas? Thanks in Advance

Sounds like it may be low on Freon and the computer is cutting it off..I had
a cadillac that did that but it had an "information center" which said "AC
refrigerant low, AC system off"  After it set this code you could not
activate the compressor. That could be why yours is doing this, to protect
the compressor..Just a thought!!!

Hi John,
That sound like a good idea. I will jump out the low pressue switch and
see it that is the problem. I remember when I was having trouble with my
anti-lock brakes the climate control was used as the troubleshooting
display. I do also have the information center on this car but it my not
look at the freon pressure.
I will let you know what I find.
Thanks Again

Hello John,
Checked the low pressure switch and all was fine. I then found out how to
use the Climate control as a scan tool. The display told me Codes 110 and
66. I then disconned the battery and reconnected and the system can back
in Auto mode.I scanned again and the code was 152. In the code book 66 is
low freon or too high freon pressure. I think you were right and it was
the a/c pressure. I am sure 66 will come back if the a/c needs to work. I
guess I will add some freon to the system. Now if I only knew what code
110 and 152 are.
Thanks for your help, John
Thanks
