My son has a 2000 Alero.  The Service vehicle light, the Trac Off light,
and the Anti-lock light keeps coming on.  He is away at college and I
don't know what to tell him.

Any suggestions?

Shooting from the hip I would guess that one of the vehicle's four wheel
speed sensors is bad or has a loose/dirty/damaged connection.  The traction
and ABS systems work as sort of a team.  That's probably why you have
trouble indications for both systems.  The car should still have its normal
braking function and not be dangerous to drive.  That's my guess for what
it's worth.

I had a similar problem with mine where the traction control light would go
on and off.  It turned out to be a faulty O2 sensor.

Hope this helps.
