I am having fuel problems with a 2000 oldsmobile alero. It shut off while
driving down the road like it was out of gas. We have changed the fuel
filter and it still acts like no gas is getting to it. Is there a fuel
reset switch on this car and if so where is it located??
The fuse for the fuel pump/injectors is in the engine compartment "underhood
junction block." That's also where the fuel pump relay is. If you do
indeed have a fuel problem, and if neither of these items is at fault then
you can suspect the pump itself or the wiring to it, or the power train
control module which controls the fuel pump relay. Another possibility
would be the fuel pressure regulator.
