Hi all! I’ve got Olds Cutlass Supreme ’92. It was sitting for a while
on the seller’s driveway and rear brakes needed cleaning and
lubrication (were stuck on rotors because of rust). I did it myself
and it works just fine now but I still have warning lights for
Antilock and Brake on my Analog Cluster Instrument Panel. How could I
reset it, so lights will go away?Someone suggested just
disconnect/reconnect the battery for a few minutes and after it alarms
will go away. Could anyone confirm it, please?
Thank you in advance.

You can try that but it probably will not help. The lights are to indicate a
problem with the system. The only way to "reset" the lights is to repair the
problem.

I dont know if it works with GM or the ABS light, but i know that in
dodges if you disconect the battery for 15 min. the codes for the
engine will be erased. GM might be different and need to be
disconected longer. if that doen’t work sorry
