Hi,
is there any body who know this car very well?
i'm a french UC old cars collector, and I have a question about this engine.
In the water vase, there are a lot of  bubbles as soon as the engine turn
on.
Is that  normal ? or is there a problem in the engine block ?
I dont know all technical words, but if you can help me, it will be
wonderful.
Sincerely
Claude

This usually indicates a bad head gasket, most common problem with the 350
Olds/diesel, very poor engine. See if the radaitor hoses become pressurized
right after starting cold, this will confirm a head gasket, this all assumes
the radiator cap holds 15 psi.

yes, you have a head gasket problem, been there done that with these
engines.

What happens is the head bolts break after time thus allowing the head
gasket to leak

Any other questions let me know

Thank you very much for your answer and your help.
About radiator, we have cleaned and verified it las wekk, it is as new now,
because just under the cap of the radiator, I call it the colar was leaking
and so we have repeared it.
Sorry for my english, i also use a dictionnary.
So, now radiator is OK.
But motor go on as soon as we turn the key, the noise is very regular, in
france we said it turns  round.
And at the end of the tube exhaust,  no water  with the smoke...
So , in france we are afraid of difficulties to find  head gasket and also
boltsDo you know if in USA there are some shop who agree to send parts in
france.
I know a little USA, i've gone in north arolina 2 year ago
thank you very much one more time
Claude.
