306 wiper problem

works in fast
works in normal
works in off
doesn't work in intermittant

Dunno which relay it is....any ideas.

May be the motoer itself. Water ingress. That was the first symptom with
mine - slowly dying altogther.

i had same problem on 97 306 had to change the motor to cure problem. if
you leave it it will slowly fail altogether.

Totally agree. It generally has nothing to do with realys.Mines failed in
the middle of a thunder storm at peak time on the A80. Scary stuff. Easy to
replace though - but not cheap (£90 from Eurocarparts).

I had this problem with an old Cavalier, I found that by putting the wipers
on intermittent and then gently tapping the stalk until the wiper came on
worked, so I guess a dodgy switch was at fault.
