405 cluttch stiff???

The clutch has become very stiff on my 95 405. I've heard this is a common
problem and a dob of grease sorts it. But where?

possibly the cable and also the release arm which actuates the release
bearing.

Anywhere along the clutch cable, wherever you can reach it.

Tried greasing the cable and the bit that it operates but made no
difference. Thanks anyway
