My 306 has developed a front wheel rattle (clunking sound really) over
rough road surfaces. An initial investigation discovered a worn track
rod end. However there is a problem at the other end of the track rod,
where it exits the steering rack, as well. Are the bushes in the
steering rack serviceable, and what kind of price would I be looking
at to get them done?

Thereare no bushes in the rack as far as I know, just the aluminium casing,
and this is unlikely to wear.
However there is another ball joint on the inner end of the track rod where
it exits the rack. This may be worn.
