For people who have got 406 1.8 16v petrol

John, I think my cclutch cable is in good conditione. I can't belive
that clutch cable can make trouble like mine. Isn't it just a wire
wich work properly or not. My clutch pedal is soft, and chatch in the
middle.
And yes, i have no trouble when change gear from 3-2 and 2-1 (no
jerking, very smooth)

sounds like worn synchro then..... you can improve it a bit with molyslip in
the box. Other than that, its gearbox change!

Listen,
I have readed about worn synchro on the net. I have the same problem
with double clutch depresing. Nothing changed. Problem is only when I
am going from 1 to 2 gear (that is not griding like you can hear when
changing without clutch, that is little kick back). Whan I am going up
to hill and change from first to second gear i can feal some strange
feeling wich coming from transmition..
