Does anyone know if there are any differences between the turbo and
non-turbo 1.9l XUD cylinder heads?

I might be facing the prospect of replacing the head on my non-turbo 1993
306 but can only source new heads for the turbo engine.

Thanks

Chris

There is a difference in compression ratio between the two engines but that
is handled by different pistons.
There are definitely two types of inlet port, but I think all the 90 on were
the same, oval to look at on the outside.
Assuming that they are the same, then I don't think you will have a problem.
But then there are many contributors here who are far more knowledgeable
than I am.

Chris,
I have it on good authority (Peugeot source)that there is no
difference at all between the turbo and non turbo heads. So I bought a
non turbo head from ebay and I am in the process of having it done up
just in case my turbo cylinder head decides that it is time to throw
the towel!! Go for it!!
