I believe you can get it from any Peugeot agent. They may charge a fee
though.

Last time I needed one Peugeot would have charged £20 (the just need the
car registration), but somehow my then garage got it for £10. Check the
case carefully as sometimes people write or scratch it on the outside or
inside of the cover.

If you get no joy from Peugeot, then try here
http://radiocode.proboards6.com/index.cgi
What you need to supply is the make and model number of the radio, ie.
Clarion P2006 etc.
Then it's a question of looking up how to decode the particular model. I
bought a CD with decode programs on it through Ebay, and used it
successfully on a replacement 106 radio.
There might be a need to look inside at the circuit board. Some Clarions
have a number of links inside, and the code depends on which are joined.

Got mine from the local Peugeot dealer, despite being an 11 year old car.
They charged me ?10 + vat. Got a local stereo specialist to do her indoor's
Citroen radio when the manufacturers code wouldn't work. That was ?10 cash
and he had the stereo for a day.

I am in the same boat as you with regards to buying an old peugeot from a
car auction and no record of code for the music system. peugeot dealer say
it will cost me £25 + VAT! What a ripoff!
