The radio in my 206GTI needs has died, and I want to use a non-Pug
replacement. Does anyone know of any problems doing this? Are the
connections and mountings atandard?

TIA for any info.

JUNK is stuff that you keep for 20 years,
then throw away a week before you need it.

Hi,

Does anybody know of a forum (or 3!) for the 407 that is in English?

I've found http://peugeot.fanzone.info/, that has a section for the 407, but
not much posted as yet, there are also a couple of good Dutch and German
forums that seem to have a whole host of hints/tips & tricks, and problem
discussions, however my foreign languages are not what they should be, with
translations performed by bablefish and google, being somewhat amusing.

Thanks,

I'm quite confident that if you post in english on the dutch forum you
wont get flamed,
do mention however that you are english native..

Try http://206gti.net/

If you scroll down there's a link on the right hand side which will probably
help!

What radio does your Pug have now?  If is uses the ISO connector then just
plug and play.  If u have the stalk controller on your steering wheel u may
lose its function.  There are some wiring adaptors u can buy from shops that
allow u to use the controller again.

In response to what Jim <nospam@killspam.com> posted in

It's an RD1, and my local Halfords has a Sony that they say has an adaptor
to make it work with the stalk.

We shall see...
