Hi,

Does anybody know of a forum (or 3!) for the 407 that is in English?

I've found http://peugeot.fanzone.info/, that has a section for the 407, but
not much posted as yet, there are also a couple of good Dutch and German
forums that seem to have a whole host of hints/tips & tricks, and problem
discussions, however my foreign languages are not what they should be, with
translations performed by bablefish and google, being somewhat amusing.

Thanks,

Axl - Many thanks for your reply, but I have those links already, I guess
the other poster was just having a bad day, ignore.

Martin - This is my 4th Pug, 2 x 405's (what great cars), a 406 (not up to
the 405) then I went Saab for a bit (9-3 2.2 Tdi, 9-5 SE 2.3 petrol) but now
I'm back to Pug's. Finally got my 'niggles' out the way with the 407,
getting parts can be a problem, that's why I want to find an English forum,
so that I can compare notes.Once you get yours I'm sure your love it, only
recently did I really 'try' it while going into a corner a bit quick, all I
can say is wow!, it still manages to turn heads when driving around town.

I'm moving from a 306 TD that I have had for a few years.  It has given me no
trouble and was always a joy to drive.  Somehow I never took to the 307 or
the 406, but am impressed by the 407.

I would be interested to know what the "niggles" were with the 407.

The only one I had was that on the test drive, my wife tried to adjust the
(electric) drivers seat, and could not stop it moving back as far as it would
go.  If there had been anyone in the back seat, their legs could have been at
least dented if not crushed.

It remains to see how much of a problem the limited rear headroom will be
with my two regular 6 foot passengers.  But they were just about OK in the
back of the 306, and my tape measure tells me the headroom is the same in
both the 306 and 407.

Oh dear.

Unfortunately, the dickhead is you. If you can't post something
constructive, then why post at all ? Go and pollute some other group !

Huh ?

Did you even *read* my post ? Why did you think I was speaking to you ?

My post was quite clearly directed at "PingPong".

I suggest you go and learn how your newsreader works !

PingPong is the dickhead, not you ! (although I'm beginning to change my
mind ;)

I've just ordered one of those, so I too would be interested.  Exactly the
same model too.
