Peugeot 206 cd player problem

I?ve recently replaced the radio/tape player with a PU-2294A clarion
cd player which is the normal standard in peogeot 206?s these days.

It won?t hold its memory so it won?t hold radio presets or cd status.

Can anyone help please?

Sounds like the permanent live is not connected, some cars and stereo
systems have reversed permanent live feeds and switched live feeds, get a
multi-meter and check the status of the two live feeds.
