When turning right-hand corners I can hear a squeaky sqealing noise
coming from what sounds like the drivers side wheel area. This only
seems to happen at speeds above around 30MPH.

Any ideas what this could be and what I can do?

Thanks.

Remove the pig trapped under your bonnet?

(more likely to be worn wheel-bearings)

. . . or a dried out outer CV joint.

I could believe Wheel bearings but it was replaced only 7000 miles ago.

IF it should be a dried outer CV joint, can it simply be 're-greased' or is
it a case of replacement?

Thanks again.

Depends on how long its been dried out. I suppose it's worth trying to
regrease it. You have nothing to lose really.
You can do it in situ, though it's not easy. Easier to take it out and
do it, but a lot of work. Swings and roundabouts!!
