Peugeut 106 Headlight Problem

I have a 1994 Peugeot 106 XND, and while driving it the other day, suddenly
both headlights went out at the same time and I was left with side lights
and full beam only. The bulbs are ok and the fuses seem alright. Any ideas?

Your Dim Dip resistor thingummy has blown.  My 306 did the same thing.
