As I?ve said in my other posting (1.9GTi compensators) I?ve just got a
rear axle to replace mine. It?s fitted with a pair of Koni Yellow
shock absorbers but I don?t really want them (there are a bit overkill
on a Diesel). I have no idea what condition they?re in but I will ask
the mechanic who I?m going to get to fit the axle (cos I messed up the
brake pipes) to tell me. I also can?t figure out how to adjust them

But getting to the point, would anyone fancy a pair of koni yellows
from a 205 with uncertain history?

While I?m at it, I still can?t figure out where the brake compensators
are meant to be; I think the old owner removed them which could be why
he crashed. Please tell me where they are :(

Mate - keep them, cherish them as if you install 'normal' shocks you'll
REALLY notice the difference.

The Koni Yellows on the front of my last Alfa had to be fully compressed
(damper rod) before the damper rod was turned, changing the damping setting.
Some are made to have a 'key' inserted into the top. Take one off and
experiment, but don't give them away......

The brake lines come down from the front, either side of the tunnel.
Where they turn 90 degrees toward the sill is where the compensators
are supposed to be, just in front of the fuel tank.
