306 door handle

i have just open my door from the drivers door inside and it clicked and
the handle stuck out i pushed it back in and it seemed fine but when i
open it now the handle feels very slack .

it locks ok and closesfine but thedoor handle from the inside is very easy
to pull

any body any ideas or had this problem

We had the same thing on our 306XT last year. The return spring on the
interior handle has gone. I don't think it is available separately, but a
new handle assembly cost about 19 quid
