Hi all

Got a problem with my 306 1.9 XLTD

For some reason my alarm has decided to go off on one...the central locking
seems to work ok as does the deadlocking but when I try and start the car
the alarm is triggered...I wait for the glow plugs to heat up and
everything is fine and then as soon as the ignition is fired the alarm goes
off and the immobaliser kicks in...

Anyone ever had this problem or know how i can fix it? any help would be
greatly appreciated...

sounds like one of the lives is possibly corroded at the nearside
they were subject to a recall afew years ago and i remember when i used to
cut one the alarm siren would go off
may be worth whipping the bumper off and checking the wiring at the ns
look for green trails suggesting corroded wires
