205 Tachometer installation

Hey!

I'm trying to install a tachometer into my '98, 1360cc Peugeot 205.
Model: 20AKD2
Engine Model: TU3FM

I cannot find the wiring to connect the tach too. (There is no tach in the
dashboard)

I've took apart the dashboard, and checked each wire, but without any
success - couldn't find the tach input.

I'd really appreciate if someone could direct me to the right direction...

is this a peugeot tachometer, or a seperate aftermarket one?
if the later you can wire it via the alternator, however you should have got
a wiring diagram with it.
