How do chaps,
I have had both headlights on my 1994 205 Dturbo sceptre stop providing full beam.
Unlikely to be  the dim dip resistor as they normally fail and cause full beam only?
My mechanic bloke had a look and diagnosed the problem to be with the switch in the left hand control stalk. I swapped the stalk with one acquired from a scrapyard and that cured the problem for 3 weeks then it happened again!

Does anyone have any experience of this?
Have i just been unlucky that the replacement stalk failed after a short time?
I don't want to track down another stalk to find it doesn't cure the fault.

Cheers

Possibly. I would have bought a brand new Valeo stalk instead of a scrappy
one.
