306 wont start after battery disconnected

Changed starter motor on L reg 306 1.4 xr. When reconnected battery and
boxed up wont fire and appears no supply to fuel pump. any tips gratefully
accepted. Please help. !!!!!!!

Any fuses blown? Is there an immobiliser and does this have to be reset
after the battery is disconnected?

Does it have a factory fitted  immobiliser?

yes it has factory immobiliser, how would you reset it if thats whats
needed.

Lift up the rear seat base. Put your hand under the back and up into the
rear seat in the centre. You will find two connectors in there.
Disconnect the two of them and reconnect them - if you have an alarm it
will `bleep` - try to restart again.

many thanks to those who helped. sorted problem, was plug at base of
injection relay ( mounted on rear of ecu ) was not fully home, must have
knocked it while fitting S.motor.
